According to an exclusive report by Star News on the 1st, Kim So-hyun has been cast as the female lead in ENA's new drama "Love Doctor" (tentative title).
"Love Doctor" is the latest project from director Ahn Pan-seok, known for "Secret Love Affair", "Heard It Through the Grapevine", "Something in the Rain", "One Spring Night", "Graduation", and "The Art of Negotiation". Min Hyo-jeong writes the script. The human romance drama tells the story of a man who was once a swimmer but lost his left leg due to illness, and a woman who loses her way as a medical resident and begins a new path in life.
In the series, Kim So-hyun plays Im Yoo-jin, an undergraduate student majoring in fashion design who becomes entangled in an incident at school that ruins her plans for graduate school. Through a man she meets, she discovers a fascination with robotics and enters a master's program in mechanical engineering. Although her new environment is unfamiliar, she is a character who moves forward with unwavering feelings toward the man she loves.
Kim So-hyun last appeared in JTBC's "Good Boy", which ended in July. Recently, her four-year contract with her former agency E&T Story Entertainment expired, and she signed a new exclusive contract with Pitch Company, founded by actress Jun Ji-hyun.
