Synopsis: Sun-hee is a mother of two children. She has worked as a contract worker for a large discount store for the past 5 years. She has been promised numerous times that she would eventually be promoted to a regular full-time employee. Hye-mi is a single mother and works with Sun-hee as a contract worker. Soon-rye works as a contracted janitor at the same discount store. One day, the contract workers learn that they will be laid off. The workers form a union to fight for their rights and their struggle with the management begins.
