"Resurrection, That Love" (2026)

Directed by Kim Sang-cheol

With Chun Jung-eun,...

Synopsis
A documentary film that follows the life of Chun Jung-eun, who discovered true life only in the face of death and lived out the love of Jesus until her very last moment.

Chun Jung-eun, who had been living as a pianist, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, a diagnosis deemed incurable. For her, death was the end of everything, and cancer was a curse that had destroyed her life. However, in the midst of despair, she encounters the resurrected Jesus. She realizes that if Jesus' resurrection is a historical fact, then God is still alive, heaven and hell are real, and death is not the end but a gateway to the eternal world.

Chun Jung-eun's faith did not stop at words. Even after experiencing a miraculous recovery, she does not use the time given to her solely for her own survival. Rather, she visits cancer patients to share the Gospel and embraces with love the hearts of those who resent or misunderstand God in the face of death. She weeps with the sick, holds their hands in prayer, and shares the resurrected Lord she has encountered. Even amidst recurrence, extreme pain, continuous chemotherapy, brain metastasis, and moments when she can no longer walk, she confesses:

"I belong to the Lord".

She does not stop loving even in the midst of suffering. Even as her body crumbles, she comforts other patients, holds onto souls in despair, and shares the love of Jesus with her family and neighbors. For her, faith was not a concept for going to heaven after death, but a life of living with Jesus today and practicing His love.
