Cha Chung-hwa Confirms "Spring of Youth"

Actress Cha Chung-hwa will join SBS' new drama "Spring of Youth".

On the 13th, her agency, NS ENM, said, "Cha Chung-hwa has confirmed her appearance in the drama "Spring of Youth"".

"Spring of Youth" is a story about top K-pop band star Sa-gye starting a new life on a university campus and finding music and love after being kicked out of the team, starring actors Ha Yoo-joon, Park Ji-hu and Lee Seung-hyub.

In this work, Cha Chung-hwa plays Kim Ja-yeong, the mother of Bae Gyoo-ri (Seo Hye-won) and the aunt of Kim Bom (Park Ji-hu). Kim Ja-yeong is a character who lives in Kim Bom's house with her daughter, Gyoo-ri, to get back the 100 million won borrowed by Kim Bom's mother while she was alive. She is shameless but has a charm that cannot be hated.

Cha Chung-hwa has shown a wide spectrum of acting by appearing in several works, including dramas "Crash Landing on You", "Mr. Queen", "The Host", "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha", "Why Her?", "Kokdu: Season of Deity" and "Song of the Bandits" drawing attention to how she will add vitality in "Spring of Youth".
