On the 13th, a representative from her agency BH Entertainment told Ilgan Sports, "Han Ji-min has received an offer to star in "The Koreans" and is currently reviewing it positively".
"The Koreans" is a new spy drama by director Ahn Gil-ho, known for "Secret Forest" and Netflix's "The Glory". The series is a Korean adaptation of the popular American show The Americans, reimagined against the backdrop of South Korea's military dictatorship era.
Han Ji-min has been offered the role of the wife in a married spy couple, with Lee Byung-hun reportedly being considered for the husband's role. Actress Jun Ji-hyun was previously in talks for the project but ultimately stepped down due to scheduling conflicts.
Meanwhile, Han Ji-min is currently awaiting the premiere of JTBC's upcoming weekend drama "The Practical Guide to Love".
