"A Trap" comes from director Lee Moon-young, whose previous work include the melodrama film "Our Ex-Girlfriends" in 2013 and the rural visitor romance "Rainbow Goddess" back in 2020. "A Trap" had actually been released in South Korean theaters back in 2021, and became available on VOD platforms in that country that same year. This English subtitled version, however, is new international exposure for the scary movie.
