[HanCinema's News] Cha Hak-yeon Makes Special Appearance in "Tomorrow"

Actor Cha Hak-yeon recently made a special appearance in "Tomorrow" in the MBC television drama's ninth episode. There he played Kim Hoon, a young man with a particular fondness for his pet dog Kongy. At one point, Kim Hoon acquires a tattoo on his right arm is to cover up a scar that Kim Hoon suffered in order to rescue his beloved Kongi. Over the episode Kongy runs away from home in an apparent bit to commit suicide, and spare Kim Hoon the pain of his pet dying.

The emotionally difficult story of a pet owner and his pet having to face the death of their more short-lived partner struck a chord with viewers. In a statement, Cha Hak-yeon stated that he had never worked with an animal before, but that he had gotten along great with the dog who he performed with, claiming that Kim Hoon remembered him in subsequent encounters. Cha Hak-yeon last appeared in "Bad and Crazy" in a major role. He has no currently confirmed upcoming projects.
