Leading K-content streaming platform TVING has officially unveiled its highly anticipated new action-comedy series "Fifties Professionals", produced by MBC and distributed by CJ ENM.

Already emerging as one of the most buzzworthy K-dramas of 2026, "Fifties Professionals" delivers a fresh blend of high-stakes action, sharp comedy, and heartfelt camaraderie, anchored by an all-star cast featuring Shin Ha-kyun ("The Auditors" (2024)), Oh Jung-se ("It's Okay to Not Be Okay" (2020), "We Are All Trying Here" (2026)), and Heo Sung-tae ("Adamas" (2022), "Good Boy" (2025)).

The series follows three seemingly ordinary middle-aged men who, beneath their modest appearances, conceal extraordinary abilities that once made them legends in their respective worlds. Now in their fifties and convinced their glory days are long behind them, the trio is unexpectedly pulled back into action - launching the thrilling second act of their lives.

Premiered on May 22, the series has quickly captured the attention of both local and global audiences with its dynamic storytelling, emotionally grounded humor, and electrifying performances from its acclaimed lead cast.

Shin Ha-kyun stars as "Jeong Ho-myeong", a former elite black-ops agent once considered the best in South Korea, now living undercover as an employee at a Chinese restaurant on Yeongseon Island following the failed "Black Pearl" mission. Alongside him, Oh Jung-se takes on the role of "Bong Je-seon", a former North Korean special operative known as "Bulgae", who loses his memory after an incident tied to the Black Pearl case and washes ashore on a small South Korean island. Completing the trio is Heo Sung-tae as "Kang Beom-ryong", the former No. 2 member of the Hwasan gang, who loses everything after being betrayed during a power struggle within the organization.

Expanding its global footprint, "Fifties Professionals" is currently streaming on TVING in Korea, while also reaching international audiences through Rakuten Viki, the TVING Collection on Disney+ Japan, and HBO Max across 17 countries and regions in Asia Pacific - introducing a refreshing dose of fun and action-packed entertainment to viewers worldwide.
