Actress Kong Hyun-joo recently confirmed through her agency Monster Entertainment that she is expecting to give birth to twins in July of this year. Kong Hyun-joo had previously married a non-celebrity back in 2019. Kong Hyun-joo started her career in the South Korean entertainment industry as a supermodel back in 2001, making her first appearance in a television drama in an unnamed role in the gambling themed "All In" back in 2003.

"All In" is perhaps best known as the only collaboration with Lee Byung-hun and Song Hye-kyo in leading roles, though both were already established talents by this time. Kong Hyun-joo had her first named role in "Wedding" in 2005. Her most prominent role was likely in "You Are My Destiny" from 2008 as a credited ensemble lead, while her most recent role was in "High Class" in 2021 as one of the leading mothers.
Kong Hyun-joo has no confirmed upcoming projects. The announcement may have in part been intended to indicate that she is not currently available for work. Kong Hyun-joo turned thirty-nine this past January 7th. It is not known how old her husband is, but purportedly he is older than her.
