[HanCinema's News] "The Judge From Hell" Fans Surprised to Learn That Three Actresses Are Real-life Sisters

Recently, "The Judge from Hell" has been a big hit with ratings of 11.4% in its most recent episode, the tenth, which aired on October 19th. Fans have been scrutinizing many of the supernatural legal thriller's more unusual elements, and one of the odder ones is the coincidence of three sisters appearing in the supporting cast. Kim Jae-hwa plays Myeong-sook, the landlady of Park Shin-hye's lead character. Though Myeong-sook initially seems comic, she has a connection to the drama's serial killer.

Meanwhile, Kim Jae-hwa's sister Kim Hye-hwa plays So-yeong, another woman who lost family to the serial killer who herself apparently becomes a new victim in the present day, with the lead characters presently trying to solve this mystery. Whether these characters are related to each other aside from being mere victims remains unknown. However, the third sister Kim Seung-hwa plays Ju-eun- the newly introduced daughter to Kim Jae-hwa's character.
The exact role Ju-eun will play in the story going forward is as yet unknown. She resents her mother for not being able to move on from the death of her brother, and appears in the tenth episode trying to get her to sign away her property. The tension of the scene met with positive appraisal from viewers, who remain curious as to whether this real-life bloodline connection may hold clues to what's happening in the story.
