On June 10th, the Korean Film Council released figures confirming that the sci-fi fantasy film "Wonderland" was the best performing movie at the South Korean box office over the weekend. "Wonderland" earned 237,797 admissions over the weekend of June 7th to June 9th, and now sits at a cumulative total of 468,764 admissions. For reference, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga earned 187,928 admissions over the same timeframe in its third weekend.

The overall numbers for "Wonderland" are fairly weak, given the quality of the cast, the lack of competition, and the very delayed release of the film that finished most of its filming four years ago. Third place went to the thriller "Following" which has now exceeded the million viewer mark with 1,134,408 overall admissions. Fourth place went to the action film "The Roundup: Punishment" which currently stands at a 11,421,632 admissions.
