Hansel and Gretel found UK home

The dark fantasy about mysterious orphans in search of surrogate parents titled "Hansel and Gretel" is heading towards a happy end, Yim Pil-sung's aesthetic pleasing film can call the UK its third home, after previous cinematic releases in Korea and Canada.
"Hansel and Gretel" has been acquired by Terracotta Distribution and they announced the news via film website Twitch. Terracotta also bought the UK distribution rights to Lee Hyeong-gon's "macabre musical comedy" "The Fox Family".
"Hansel and Gretel" premiered in the UK at the 52nd London Film Festival (15 – 30 October 2008). Subsequently, Terracotta has slated the film for a release in UK cinemas on 16 January 2009. Details about The Fox Family's release are not disclosed as yet.
