"Serendipity's Embrace" is a work that depicts the story of young people who meet their first love 10 years ago again, centering on the main characters Lee Hong-joo (Kim So-hyun) and Kang Hoo-yeong (Chae Jong-hyeop).
In the drama, Kyeong-taek is a physical education teacher at Obok High School and has a long crush on Kim Hye-ji (Kim Dasom), a teacher of the same school, as a correct, honest, but extraordinary pure person.
Hwang Sung-bin said, "It is a great honor to meet director Song Hyun-wook through this work. I am preparing for the work with full excitement because I may show a new look different from what I have seen before. "The winter cold has begun, but as always, I hope the work will be completed safely without any accidents", he said.
Meanwhile, Hwang Sung-bin has recently attracted great attention for his role as Tae-hoon in "Weak Hero Class 1", Do-gyoon in "Ultimate Weapon Alice", and Detective Shim in "Why Her?". Although he has mainly played mysterious or rebellious characters, he challenges the role of Kyeong-taek, who has a crush on someone in "Serendipity's Embrace".
