Joo Won to Serve as Police Officer to Fulfill His Military Duty

Actor Joo Won is expected to fulfill his mandatory military service as a police officer.

"Ju was recently recruited to serve for the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency after passing several screening procedures. He will serve as police officer, while promoting the agency", it said on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, singer Lee Seung-gi, who joined the army last month, completed six weeks of basic combat training in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province and was assigned to a Special Forces unit.
