Kang Tae-oh to Come Back With "The Potato Lab"

Actors Kang Tae-oh and Lee Sun-bin are returning with a romantic comedy.

On the 14th, tvN announced that the new drama "The Potato Lab" has been confirmed to cast Lee Sun-bin and Kang Tae-oh in Sports Trends.

"The Potato Lab" is a romantic comedy about "Bottle Taste" that takes place in the background of the The Potato Lab in a mountain valley. The hot romance between two men and women grilling, frying, and boiling brings out pleasant laughter and different excitement. Director Kang Il-soo and writer Kim Ho-soo from "Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung" and "Solomon's Perjury", are in sync.

"The Potato Lab" is Kang Tae-oh's first comeback movie since his discharge from the military. Kang will play So Baek-ho, a capitalist Death Eater who has a bright smile, but lacks compassion in reality. Lee Sun-bin will return to tvN in five years after the drama "The Great Show" in 2019. She will play Kim Mi-kyeong, a potato-crazy researcher at the The Potato Lab in a mountain valley. Expectations are high on what changes Kim Mi-kyeong, who used to live her life as simply and purely as a potato, will face when she meets So Baek-ho, who stimulates her fighting power.

Meanwhile, tvN's new drama "The Potato Lab" will air in the first half of 2025.
