Kim Shin-bi in "Flex X Cop - Season 2"

Actor Kim Shin-bi will be joining Season 2 of the SBS drama "Flex X Cop", following his appearance in Season 1.

On the 23rd, his agency Prain TPC announced, "The drama "Flex X Cop - Season 2" will return with a new season next year", adding, "Actor Kim Shin-bi, who was loved as the youngest detective in Season 1, has confirmed his appearance in the new season".

"Flex X Cop - Season 2" is a comedic action drama that follows the exhilarating investigations of Jin I-soo (Ahn Bo-hyun), a carefree third-generation chaebol heir who becomes a detective in the violent crimes unit. Season 1 aired in 2024 and garnered significant attention.

Following Park Ji-hyun in Season 1, actress Jung Eun-chae newly joins the cast as Ahn Bo-hyun's partner, taking on the role of Joo Hye-ra, the head of Violent Crimes Unit 1 at the Gangha Police Station. In Season 2, anticipation is building over the story between the two characters, who reunite as partners after previously meeting at the police academy, where Joo Hye-ra was known as a strict 'devil instructor' who constantly disciplined Jin Yi-soo.

In the previous season, Kim Shin-bi played Choi Kyeong-jin, the MZ-generation youngest detective of the Gangha Police Station's Violent Crimes Unit 1. He returns in Season 2 as Officer Choi Kyeong-jin, continuing his role as an eccentric yet lovable mood-maker who also showed moments of seriousness.
