Synopsis
"Road - Drama" follows two detectives as they track a series of gruesome cross-border murders, characterized by twisted bodies and mysterious dying messages. Director Han Jun-hee, writer and director of "D.P" and "Coin Locker Girl", and creator of "Weak Hero Class 1" and "Weak Hero Class 2", who has received acclaim from both critics and audiences, brings "Road - Drama" to life as his latest project. Based on the popular webcomic "Blue Road," the series is adapted by writer Jo Yoo-jin-I ("Pilot") in collaboration with director Han Jun-hee, adding a fresh layer of intrigue to the original story. The series stars Son Sukku ("A Killer Paradox", "D.P") as a Korean detective leading the investigation, and Eita Nagayama (Monster, Nodame Cantabile) as his Japanese counterpart. Joining them are Kim Shin-rok ("Hellbound", "Uprising") as a facilitator of Korean-Japanese descent, and Choi Sung-eun ("My Name is Loh Kiwan", "The Sound of Magic") as a government agent assigned to the case. Jung Jae-young ("Noryang: Deadly Sea", "Moss") also joins the cast as a shadowy figure at the center of the case.
