Synopsis
The story explores the choices Seong Gi-hun must make in the face of overwhelming despair, while the Front Man moves forward with his next plan and the surviving players' decisions lead to increasingly grave consequences with each round. Gi-hun is returned to the players' dormitory by the game soldiers, but he remains baffled by the Front Man's actions. Haunted by the loss of his closest ally, Park Jeong-bae, he becomes even more determined to end the Squid Games once and for all. Meanwhile, the Front Man makes preparations for the fourth game, which may prove to be the bloodiest yet. The VIPs are soon to arrive on the island where the games are held. On the periphery of the Squid Game, Detective Hwang Joon-ho and his search team race against time to locate the mysterious island. Among the masked officers working the games, Kang No-eul risks her life to save player Park Kyeong-seok.
