Synopsis
"Weak Hero Class 2" tells the story of survival and growth of a student who transfers to a new school after standing up against school violence for a friend but failing to protect him, and faces even greater violence to never lose a friend again. Following in the footsteps of "Weak Hero Class 1", a collaborative effort between a rookie director and cast that received praise from critics and fans alike, "Weak Hero Class 2" introduces new plot developments and fresh faces. Park Jihoon ("Weak Hero Class 1", "Love Song for Illusion") reprises his role as Yeon Si-eun, who meets new friends at Eunjang High School: Ryeoun ("Twinkling Watermelon") as Park Hoo-min, Choi Min-young ("XO, Kitty") as Seo Joon-tae, and Lee Min-jae-II ("Uprising") as Go Hyeon-tak. Yoo Su-bin ("D.P") comes back as Choi Hyo-man, who ended "Weak Hero Class 1" with a cliffhanger confrontation with Yeon Si-eun. Bae Na-ra ("D.P - Season 2") as Na Baek-jin and Lee Jun-young ("Badland Hunters") are members of the Union, a representation of the greater violence that Yeon Si-eun is up against.
