Synopsis
In 2001, Kyeong-hwan, who transferred from Yeongcheon, North Gyeongsang Province, to Suseong-gu, Daegu, is a Japanese culture fanatic. He notices that Jae-min, the class president who sits next to him, also listens to Japanese music, and the two become close. Jae-min, who is always honest with himself, helps Kyeong-hwan adjust to life in Suseong-gu, and Kyeong-hwan follows Jae-min around. During this time, Kyeong-hwan overhears Jae-min's secret. Kyeong-hwan decides to tell Jae-min his secret, too. However, after Kyeong-hwan reveals his secret, Jae-min becomes cold to him, and his classmates begin to ostracize him. Despite this, Kyeong-hwan still wants to be friends with Jae-min.
