Synopsis
"Possible Love" follows the intertwined lives of two married couples leading completely different lives. As their worlds collide, fractures begin to appear in their daily existence. Marking his first release in eight years, highly acclaimed director Lee Chang-dong ("Burning", "Poetry", "Secret Sunshine") brings his signature nuance to "Possible Love", capturing shifting emotions, conflicts, and contrasting outlooks that shape these relationships. Jeon Do-yeon reunites with director Lee Chang-dong for the first time since "Secret Sunshine", taking on the role of Mi-ok with a performance that cuts deep and lingers. Sul Kyung-gu also returns to collaborate with director Lee for the third time - following "Peppermint Candy" and "Oasis" - portraying Mi-ok's husband, Ho-seok, revealing a new side of himself to audiences. Sang-woo and Ye-ji, a couple whose lives stand in stark contrast to Mi-ok and Ho-seok, are played by Zo In-sung and Cho Yeo-jeong, marking their first collaboration with director Lee, which further amps up the excitement for the film. All eyes are on how Zo In-sung, known for his genre-defying range in "Smugglers" and "Escape from Mogadishu", which has mesmerized critics and fans alike, and Cho Yeo-jeong, celebrated for her ever-evolving charm in roles from "Parasite" to "Hidden Face", will bring these characters to life.
