Synopsis
Seung-ha and Yeon-joo, loosening their hanbok jeogori, take on their first challenge in a historical adult drama.
Yang-hwa, cast out of her in-laws' home for bearing only a daughter and no son, now lives in a remote mountain village with her infant daughter and her servant, Seol-ah. One day, Jeong-jin, said to be the sworn brother of Yang-hwa's elder brother, arrives to stay as a guest in the household's sarangbang (men's quarters). Witnessing Yang-hwa endure violent sex at the hands of her husband, Seong-gyoo — a collaborator with the Japanese — Jeong-jin begins to feel compassion for her. Though Yang-hwa initially resists, she gradually opens her heart to his genuine affection. However, Seol-ah, who has given herself completely to Jeong-jin out of love, feels betrayed. Determined, she makes up her mind to take revenge.
