Nam Ji-hyun to Romance Hwang In-youp in New Drama "True Confession: 183Hz"

Actor Nam Ji-hyun is set to portray a romance with actor Hwang In-youp in a new project.

According to Xports News on the 19th, Nam Ji-hyun has been cast as Go Eun-yeong, the female lead in the upcoming drama "True Confession: 183Hz".

Based on a web novel, "True Confession: 183Hz" is an office romance drama about a former 'tiger-like' senior colleague who once terrified the female protagonist during her rookie days but returns after undergoing a complete transformation. The original web novel was serialized from June to December 2020 and built a strong fan base.

Hwang In-youp will play the male lead, Baek Seon-ho. Having recently wrapped up the ENA drama "Dream to You", where he showed great chemistry with Hyeri, Hwang In-youp is drawing attention over what kind of romantic chemistry he will create with Nam Ji-hyun.

The broadcast network and exact premiere date for "True Confession: 183Hz" have yet to be decided.

Nam Ji-hyun made her debut as a child actress in 2004 and has steadily built an impressive filmography through works including "Queen Seon-deok", "Shopping King Louie", "Suspicious Partner", "100 Days My Prince", "365: Repeat the Year", "Little Women", and "Good Partner".

She most recently showcased her acclaimed acting skills in the KBS 2TV drama "To My Beloved Thief", which ended in February, and is also set to appear in the upcoming TVING original series "Make Me Tingle".

Although fans were disappointed by her decision not to join "Good Partner - Season 2", news of her next project has raised anticipation for her future activities.
