Song Kang Joins the Army

Actor Song Kang is joining the military.

He will be entering the army on the 2nd of April to serve his duties to the country. His departure will be held in private without any separate event.

Song Kang showed his affection for his fans through a hand-written letter on his fan café, one day before his departure.

He said, "To all my fans who have been with me since my debut in 2017! I'm only here thanks to you. All our memories together have been going through my mind in a flash".

He added, "I'm so grateful you filled my twenties with meaningful times and although I won't be around for a while, I'll be back before you know it. I wish to meet you once again with a thankful heart and I hope you're happier than ever when that time comes".

Song Kang promised to make his time in the army a meaningful one.

Song Kang gained global popularity through the Netflix series "Sweet Home", "Love Alarm" and the drama "My Demon".
