On the eighth episode of the MBC drama "Pride and Prejudice", Yeol-moo (Baek Jin-hee) and Dong-chi (Choi Jin-hyuk) brought out Han-byeol's case once again.
They collected everything they knew about that day. Dong-chi said someone impersonating an investigator on duty, ordered internal investigations to be stopped and that there was no autopsy. Yeol-moo wanted an autopsy but her brother was already considered without friends and family and had been sent to be cremated. She only managed to collect his ashes.
Dong-chi said, "The original copies of the case disappeared as soon as I started poking. So I wonder if the prosecutor's are involved". Dong-chi had overheard the kidnapper's call. The criminal had used the word 'sir'. In the past, prosecutors were called 'sir'.
Also, Yeol-moo's father discovered a note saying 'help me' in Han-byeol's toy and went to the police but the case had been closed. Yeol-moo said her dad was distraught but she couldn't do anything. She wondered why it had to be her brother.
Dong-chi showed Yeol-mi the shoes that were discovered on site but she claimed they weren't Han-byeol's.
Then the screen showed Kang-soo (Lee Tae-hwan). He suffered from nightmares of drowning and even this time he woke up drenched in sweat. The previews showed Yeol-moo's mother thinking about her son when she saw Kang-soo.
