Synopsis
An ordinary civil worker of modest means develops superhuman strength that matches the amount of cash he has on hand, and he devotes his whole paycheck to saving the world. Lee Junho ("King the Land", "The Red Sleeve") plays Kang Sang-woong, a down-to-earth civil worker at a community center who dreams of becoming a homeowner. He discovers that he has superpowers that match the cash he has, but when used, his cash is depleted. Faced with this incredulous situation, his life takes a 180-degree turn. Kim Hye-jun ("A Shop for Killers", "Inspector Koo") plays Kim Min-sook, Sang-woong's longtime girlfriend and a rational pragmatist who is gifted with numbers and puts efficiency above all else. Despite being shocked at Sang-woong's superpower, she gets busy with her calculator and sets out to help him through this inefficient and unprofitable "cashero" business that burns through Sang-woong's pay. Kim Byung-chul ("Perfect Family", "Doctor Cha") plays Byeon Ho-in, a lawyer with superpowers that kick in when he drinks alcohol. As the head of the Korean Coalition of Superheroes, Ho-in fights against the mysterious "Criminal Association" which hunts down superheroes. Recognizing Sang-woong's superpower, Ho-in approaches him to enlist his help in saving the world. Kim Hyang-gi ("Hansan: The Rise of The Dragon", "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist") plays Bang Eun-mi, a superhero who can use psychokinesis in the amount that matches her caloric intake, running on pastries and bread. These down-to-earth superheroes, defending peace in everyday life, unite in their fight against the evil forces wreaking havoc on world order.
