Synopsis
"If Wishes Could Kill" follows a group of high schoolers who suddenly find themselves fated to die, cursed by a mysterious wish-granting app called GIRIGO. Desperate to escape their grim destinies, they must race against time and the deadly curse. As Netflix's first Korean young adult horror series, "If Wishes Could Kill" is helmed by director Park Yoon-seo, the second unit director of "Kingdom - Season 2" and co-director of "Moving".

Emerging actress Jeon So-young takes on the role of Se-ah, a promising track-and-field athlete. Her beautiful friend Na-ri is played by Kang Mina ("Welcome to Samdal-ri", "Cafe Minamdang", "Twelve", "Love Untangled"). Geon-woo, Se-ah's boyfriend, is brought to life by Baek Sun-ho ("Between Him and Her" and "Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard"). The ensemble's chemistry is rounded out by Hyeon Woo-seok ("404 Still Remain", "Time to be Strong", "Cheer Up") playing Ha-joon, the group's smart strategist, while Lee Hyo-je ("Concrete Utopia", "The Loop", "First Love", "Hunted") portrays Hyeong-wook, whose wish comes true through the GIRIGO app.
