According to a report by YTN Star on the 12th, Lee Chae-min confirmed his appearance in the drama adaptation of the popular webtoon "My Reason to Die". He will play the protagonist Cha-gyeol.

The series is a regression romance that tells the story of Ji-oh, a high school senior preparing for the national taekwondo team trials, and Cha-gyeol, a boy with a mysterious charm. The original webtoon gained significant popularity for its delicate portrayal of the leads' emotional journey.

This project marks Lee Chae-min's first collaboration with director Kim Hee-won-II, who has earned acclaim for his refined direction in dramas such as "Vincenzo" and "Little Women", in addition to co-directing "Queen of Tears". Industry watchers are eager to see the results of this partnership between the in-demand young actor and the accomplished director.

Lee Chae-min demonstrated his rising star power in last year's tvN drama "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty", where he stepped in on short notice following Park Sung-hoon's departure and impressed viewers with his stable performance, helping drive the show's popularity.

Since then, Lee has received numerous casting offers and is recognized by producers as an actor who combines star appeal with solid acting skills. He is also set to appear in the Netflix variety show "Why on Earth Do You Go Hiking?", expanding his presence across genres.

Lee Chae-min debuted in 2021 with the tvN drama "High Class" and has since appeared in "Crash Course in Romance", "See You In My 19th Life", "Hierarchy", and "Crushology 101". He won the Best New Actor award at the 11th APAN Star Awards for his performances in "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty" and "Crushology 101".
