Who Is "Aema"?

The series "Aema", depicting the story surrounding the 1980s movie "Title for Members Only" will be released. Netflix announced on the 11th that it will produce "Aema" and said that Lee Hanee, Bang Hyo-rin, Jin Sun-kyu, and Cho Hyun-chul will appear in this work.

"Aema" contains the struggles of the actors in the process of the birth of the movie "Title for Members Only". Lee Hanee plays Jeong Hee-ran, who is the best actress of the time but is deprived of the main character's position in "Title for Members Only" due to conflict with the producer. Bang Hyo-rin plays the new actress Sin Joo-ae, who was chosen to star in "Title for Members Only". Jin Sun-kyu will be in charge of producer Goo Joong-ho, and Cho Hyun-chul will be in charge of new director Kwak In-woo, who is about to make his directing debut with "Title for Members Only".

Director Lee Hae-yeong is directing and writing the drama. Lee Hae-yeong created "Phantom" (2023) and "Believer" (2018). The timing of the release of "Aema" is yet to be decided.
